Dongfeng Mengshi 4x4 Ambulance Successfully Exported to Mongolia
A Remote Medical Response Project for Mongolia
Ruitu delivered a Dongfeng Mengshi 4x4 Ambulance to Mongolia for a customer that needed medical response capability beyond ordinary paved roads. In remote areas, an ambulance is valuable only if it can reach the patient, and that was the main concern behind this project.
The customer operates across long distances, cold weather, unpaved tracks and scattered communities. A standard van-style ambulance could provide cabin space, but it would not offer the same traction, ground clearance or confidence on snow roads, steppe routes and rough access paths.
Ruitu reviewed the expected rescue distance, crew size, emergency equipment, road surface and low-temperature operation before recommending the 4x4 platform. The goal was to balance off-road mobility with enough medical function for first response.

Vehicle Configuration for Difficult Road Conditions
The Dongfeng Mengshi 4x4 Ambulance was selected for its full-time four-wheel drive, strong torque, high ground clearance and compact emergency body. It can carry a small rescue team, essential medical supplies and communication equipment while staying more capable on difficult roads.
The medical layout can be adjusted with stretcher position, storage, warning lights, heating-related options and communication tools. Ruitu kept the build practical so the vehicle can serve both emergency missions and routine remote medical support.
