Maxus V90 Mobile DR X-Ray Clinic Van

A:  The V90 is a large light van chassis that offers good interior length while keeping external dimensions compact – it can navigate ordinary city streets, community health center driveways, and even standard underground garages (on low–roof versions). For mobile screening tasks that require stopping at multiple urban sites (e.g., corporate physicals, school TB screenings), the V90 is more agile than medium– or heavy–duty truck chassis and easier to park. Additionally, the V90 drives more like a passenger vehicle, reducing driver fatigue during long relocations.

A:  The V90 can be ordered with rear air suspension (optional, not standard on all trims), which absorbs road vibrations more effectively than leaf springs – reducing shocks transmitted to the X–ray tube, generator, and detector. During conversion, vibration–damping pads are added between the DR equipment mounts and the chassis, and key components (e.g., tube stand) are reinforced. For mobile screening units that frequently travel on rural roads, these measures reduce the risk of equipment misalignment or calibration shift.

A:  A longitudinal zoning layout is used: the front section is the operator area (workstation and registration desk), the middle section is the patient changing area (with folding stool and clothing hooks), and the rear section is the DR room. The zones are separated by lead–lined partitions and lead curtains. A transition door connects the changing area to the DR room – patients change and then step directly into the imaging area. This layout does not require a separate waiting zone, making it suitable for a single–passenger flow screening. For more space, the V90 long–wheelbase version is available, adding room for extra cabinets or a registration counter.

A:  The vehicle comes with two power options: an external mains connection and a quiet onboard diesel generator. At sites with available power (e.g., factories, schools, community parking lots), mains power is preferred for stable supply and zero emissions. In remote or temporary locations, the generator is used. The generator is sized to handle the high–voltage generator's instantaneous power demand for continuous exposures. An auxiliary battery bank maintains low–power devices (workstation computer, network equipment, lights) when the generator is off. Image transmission is enabled via a 4G/5G router for remote diagnosis or cloud storage.

A:  Three types of training are provided upon delivery:
1.Vehicle operation & maintenance (for drivers) – covering air suspension use, generator daily checks, and safe external power connection.
2.DR equipment operation (for radiologic technologists) – covering exposure parameter setting, image acquisition/processing, daily calibration, and basic troubleshooting.
3.Radiation protection & emergency response (all onboard staff) – covering zone demarcation, warning light use, interlock testing, and emergency stop procedures in case of accidental exposure.
